Baked Oatmeal

A delicious spin on the classic breakfast food oatmeal. This sweet dish can be eaten for breakfast, as dessert, or even as an entree.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking power
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp oil (I use olive oil)
  • 1 3/4 cup oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Grease a glass pie pan or other 8x8 dish

  3. Whisk all ingredients together

  4. Pour into greased pan

  5. Bake 30 minutes

  6. Remove from oven and serve warm with milk and any additional topping you like on your oatmeal
